Memorial Weekend Murph

May 30

We will be doing the hero WOD Murph on Saturday, May 28th

Murph WOD
– 1 Mile Run
– 100 Pull Ups
– 200 Push Ups
– 300 Air Squats
– 1 Mile Run with a Weighted Vest

There are several ways to approach Murph, the RX way is as written as a chipper. However you may complete as a partner wod, you may do a half or quarter Murph, or break it up “Cindy” style. We’ll go over that in more detail in an upcoming email and post. 

We will enforce a 75 minute time cap this year,  45 minutes if you have been doing CrossFit for 3 months or less.  

Directly after the workout we will head to a local yet tbd brewery so bring a change of clothes!

We will be closed the following Monday, 5/30 in observance of Memorial day.

WOD for Inclusion

On Saturday, July 16th DFX CrossFit will be holding a fundraiser workout for the NC Special Olympics. The 40,000 Special Olympics North Carolina athletes across the state invite you to support the mission of inclusion. Join us for the fifth annual Workout of the Day for Inclusion and work up a sweat for Special Olympics North Carolina. This event is for anyone and everyone who’s up for a challenging workout for a great cause! This workout will be open to members and non members alike. 

DWC Open Platform Day

Missed our clinic last weekend but hoping to get some feedback on your Snatch and Clean and Jerk? Come to our open platform time on February 19th at 9 – 10:30 am. We will have two USAW L1 coaches available to answer all of your weightlifting questions and provide feedback on your lifts!

Free for DFX members and those who attended the clinic on 2/5. $20 for all others.

We will also be hosting a “lifting faces for picture day” session afterward, so be sure to stick around to learn all the best poses for weightlifting. (This is a joke, to be clear – we cannot help you with that).
